Home Depot Flowers

Went to Home Depot to figure out what plants I should get in the future. It is like pre-shopping for the next growing season.

There's berries in those flowers!
Perfect for future smoothies.
So many choices.
I so want a Rose bush but for a lawn, which I don't have.
Sun plants.
There is my lawn ready and waiting.
The red version is so pretty.
I have these at home.
The large plants will overwhelm the apartment.
Love the giant storage.
So blue.
Trees for tiny homes.
Aww the Charlie Brown tree.

Looking for Some Nucky

Of course I mean Nucky Thompson from Boardwalk Empire which films around New York City all the time. I tried to see the filming or at least the cast but it was not meant to be.

You heard the news they're filming Boardwalk Empire around here.
Wait to they start filming at 8:00 PM, dang I maybe a bit early.
Wardrobe, I should show sneak in.
I don't want to see White Collar, I think I walked too far from the first set.
Chalky White's trailer? Or maybe Michael Kenneth Williams who plays Chalky.
Hollywood's version of GIRLS and BOYS rooms.
Classic
Manhattan arch
Not part of the 1920s decor.
More appropriate.
Whoa the set of Law & Order and possibly a real court house.
Hey guy where is Mr. Buscemi?

Props Like In The Movies

Waiting for the movie to start I went by one of those year long costume and magic shops.

I assume there is a guy in there all year long.
Sure cover your face but everyone can see your hooha.
I've seen enough movies not to go down the creepy stairs.
Okay this more Fourth of July related.
This place must be fun after they close at night.
No thank you!
Oooh something sweet.
A must have for any modern nerd.
Tip or else!
That reminds me I have to do my toenails.
Phones off yes, but they said nothing about cameras.

It Was Easter...

Hey at least I am getting closer to the current date. Just enjoy these few Easter shopping pics.

Happy Easter, April 8th...two and a half moths late.
Cool simple egg shaped decorations.
In my day they had one dye pack and some bad chocolate bunnies.

National September 11 Memorial & Museum

Visited the National September 11 Memorial & Museum on a cold wintery day. The site is amazing but nothing compared to the way it was before 2001.

Reflecting pool
A few of the many names
Tossing coins is against the rules but many did anyway.
Waterfall
The tower being made.
Quiet day
The park is quite small.
The museum.
Big security gates.
Kiosks giving a face to the names.
Pennies get tossed at the base of the trees instead of the pools.
South Pool.
Commemorative bike.
