Macy's Flower Show 2012

The annual Macy's Flower Show was moved to a tent on the street next to Macy's to my dismay. I can only guess that all the slow walkers and picture takers were slowing down the sales on the floor. They should move it back inside next year.

This year's theme is Brasil: Garden of Paradise.

She ain't really Brazilian.
I see London, I see France I see Brazilian underpants.
Asian lady in the corner was not part of the display.
Ehhh, looks like a regular garden to me.
Nice, these were hiding in the shadows.
Waterfall.
Not for the public to stroll through, so what is the point.
Tent view.

Queens County Farm Museum: Plant Edition

Right before Halloween last year I stopped by the Queens County Farm Museum for a quick apple and pumpkin pickin'. There were plenty of animals but that is for a later edition. I cannot wait to go again even if they are located at the edge of nowhere Queens.

Queens County gate
Of course crowds everywhere
So much to do.
And so much to buy.
I'll take the cart please.
My new country home.
Hay, hay, hay.

I want that one!
Caught the scarecrow during his break.
No thanks I will not go in the corn maze, I've seen the movies it never ends well.
Barrel flowers.
Oh the choices!
Grapes looked so good.
They seemed a bit small.
Oh they are keeping the nice ones in hiding.
Apples finally
