Hurricane Sandy 1 Year Ago

This was a local supermarket days before Hurricane/Super Storm Sandy hit NYC. Despite localized damage most of NYC was left unaffected. That is why my high-above sea level neighborhood was safe yet people were hoarding food like it was Noah's flood.

Water almost all gone yet the city's water supply was perfectly fine.

Chips were all gone since that is an emergency supply.

Apparently even caramel popcorn is not good enough for emergencies.

Meat and cheese gone maybe they will let me lick the grill.

No furloughs at the American Museum of Natural History and I made sure.

I dare you to walk the trail.

What a view, haha.

Pilgrims: "First we get the food then we kill them."
